OUR INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

The foundation of every strategy we build stems from a firm belief in utilizing a two-pronged approach. Our core portfolios are stock/bond mixes with a high level of diversification based on academic analysis and a thorough understanding of the market. We are not day-traders or market-timers and believe in long-term positions with educated rebalancing to model. Our efforts to find opportunities to reduce volatility and enhance returns, has led us to identify powerful investment vehicles that have low/no correlation to traditional markets.

Our core investment strategy makes up approximately 70% of a client’s overall portfolio.  The remaining 30% is allocated in alternative investments that have a low/no correlation to traditional markets. We scour the investment landscape for the best-in-class ALT opportunities and deliver to our clients options that fit their needs and goals. This strategy is intended to dampen the overall volatility of the portfolio, while enhancing long-term expected returns.

PLAN DESIGN SPONSORS
At Frontier Financial, we offer full-service 401k (retirement plan) services for businesses. Our team provides one-on-one support and guidance to every employee enrolled on the platform, a fiduciary level that is beyond most providers. We have robust plan options for complex company needs as well as a simple, low-cost start-up option for small businesses looking to add value to their employees and attract the best talent.

There are specific rules governing your 401(k) plan, one of which is the obligation to make all decisions based on what is in the best interests of your employees. Though all plan sponsors have that obligation, not all service providers working with retirement plans accept that same legal obligation. As a fiduciary advisor, Frontier serves as your partner, helping you to satisfy this most important obligation with and through our plan provider.

INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT PLANNING

Creating a vision for your future can feel daunting, but with our step-by-step process, we create achievable goals with intention. We prioritize the necessary components for success and execute those items properly. The Frontier Investment team is dedicated to the creation of goal-based plans that utilizes an incremental approach of achieve your objectives – first things first – prioritize and execute.

SELF-DIRECTED BROKERAGE

Do you have the time, training and temperament to make good decisions? The vast majority of participants in a company retirement plan do not pay the needed amount of attention to their initial investment selection. Moreover, statistics show plan participants rarely revisit their choices over time as their objectives change and markets evolve.

Over the past few years many employers have enhanced their retirement plans to include a brokerage window opportunity so that plan participants have more choice and greater flexibility with their retirement investments. This option, known as the Self Directed Brokerage Account (SDBA), exists in 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans where participants will have access to professional management, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.

We offer highly suitable and cost effective ways to meet your insurance needs. Our seasoned relationships allow us to compare offerings from multiple carriers to provide the protection and planning necessary to create and maintain a solid financial foundation.

Term insurance - A policy with a set duration limit on the coverage period. This type of policy provides a stated benefit upon the death of the policy owner, provided coverage is in force. Term Insurance is also known as pure life insurance because its sole purpose is to insure individuals against the loss of life. It is generally the least expensive type of life insurance to purchase.

Whole life insurance - A contract with premiums that includes insurance and investment components. The insurance component pays a predetermined amount when the insured individual dies. The investment component builds an accumulated cash value the insured individual can borrow against or withdraw.

Disability Insurance - A program managed by the Social Security Administration that insures a worker in case of a mishap. Disability insurance offers income protection to individuals who become disabled for a long period of time, and as a result can no longer work during that time period.

Long Term Care Insurance - Coverage that provides nursing-home care, home-health care, personal or adult day care for individuals above the age of 65 or with a chronic or disabling condition that needs constant supervision. LTC insurance offers more flexibility and options than many public assistance programs.

Annuities - An annuity is a contractual financial product sold by financial institutions that is designed to accept and grow funds from an individual and then, upon annuitization, pay out a stream of payments to the individual at a later point in time.
